We were out Saturday and decided to take advantage of the cool weather to go blueberry picking.

Molly was so busy eating berries that she didn't get many in her bucket

Later that night, everyone made something out of the blueberries.

I was helping Molly choose a recipe while Caleigh was making hers. I did catch her drinking the remaining sauce she made to pour over her blueberry buckle.

  1. I have to say I'm a bit jealous of those words *the cool weather*:) We haven't seen anything like that in a while here in AR! Looks like you had fun picking blueberries~our family enjoys that, too.

    Visiting from the Hop:)

  2. Don't be too jealous. It was only for a couple days. Temps are back up again.

  4. Wonderful that they all made something like that from the blueberries!!

I really wish I had taken the time to find a blueberry "farm" near us this year. Family in town has really used up all our time.

  5. I always find HIGH BUSH blueberries strange! LOL Here in Maine our wild blueberries are on bushes that MIGHT get a foot tall! Small and sweet! I've got several quarts frozen in the deep freezer! Kids LOVE Blueberry Crumble Bars! Yum! Stopping by from HHH!

  8. What fun family activities! I've never had the chance to pick blueberries, although I loved picking raspberries as a child. I love the photo of Molly that reminds me of the book Blueberries for Sal (one of my kids' favorite books when they were little)! Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com
