Our Week: Some Astronomy and House Hunting

This week has not gone as planned. We just found out last week that we're going to be moving within the next month. Tuesday afternoon I drove the three hours to the new area. We looked at houses Wednesday, Thursday, and today. I hadn't planned to stay there so long, but we wanted to look at as many houses as we could so that we could find something without having to go back again. Staying in a hotel and running around looking at houses kept us from getting very much school work done.

In history, we read about Copernicus and Galileo. We had learned about them earlier in the year when we started astronomy so it was mostly review.

I had planned to finish up our astronomy study this week by reviewing, finishing some projects, and making a lapbook. We got started on that, but didn't finish so we'll have to do the rest next week.

Other than a little math, spelling, and grammar, that's about all we accomplished this week.
We did use our time in the van to listen to The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. I'm hoping to listen to more of the Narnia books on our trips back and forth.

I can't believe I don't even have a picture to share. Oh, well I hope next week is more productive.

Um I'm going with a productive week, even though you dont think so! 3 days of traveling would have ment no school here. I'm impressed with what you did! Good luck with your move. I hate moving, so I feel for you!
