Our Visit to Maine

This is my final post about our trip to Maine so it's just a hodgepodge of pictures.

I've already posted about visiting the Maine Wildlife Park, going to a chocolate factory, and seeing the beautiful lighthouses.

This was at the top of the kids' list of things to do when we were planning. They just had to see the moose.

This is where Colin spent most of his time during our week in Maine. I was worried he would feel like he was missing out if we did things with the girls while he was at camp. He was so excited to go to camp every day and was sad when it over. He just loved it.

Maine is my second favorite state! Following only North Carolina in my heart :-) My mother was born and raised there and I spent much of my early childhood there visiting family.. I cried buckets when I learned at the ripe old age of 8 that I was not actually BORN there! When I entered kindergarten in NC, the teacher promptly signed me up for speech class and I was drilled out of my northern speech. My teachers could not understand my thick Maine accent!
You and your family are so blessed to have had a journey to Maine. Love the beaches and lighthouses there! What a great memory you all have now. I hope to bring my children there one day.

I have only been to Maine once. I was a really little girl and I remember standing on a breath taking cliff and watching whales singing off in the distance.
It looks like you all had a wonderful trip.
Blessings,
Dawn

Love all the photos - especially the one of the two girls hugging - so sweet. Were you able to tour LLBean? One of these days, I'd love to visit Maine as an adult.

You guys visited some great places! Len Libby's is a favorite of ours. Who doesn't like candy?! LOL And we shop at Bean quite often. We love the return policy - any reason, any time, no questions!
